After over 35 years in the insurance business both as an employee and ultimately a business owner, Heather sold her successful insurance brokerage with all intentions of retiring. Then came three major hip surgeries that kept her on crutches and in tremendous pain for over nearly three years. She was only 52 at the time and knew that there was something more she could contribute. Retirement wasn’t for her. Majix Consulting (2011) Inc. was created to inspire, encourage and empower business owners and their employees to succeed.
She combined her extensive business background and experience with several years of targeted training with the most well-know business leaders of our time. In addition she became certified as a facilitator with The Passion Test for Business. This has provided her with a powerful tool – a process that leads business to have higher profits and happier employees. If the employer has a clear mission, the employees know what their work passions are and you engage them the rewards are both financial and emotional; higher profits and happier employees!
As a business owner, one usually doesn’t have the time to research current trends, develop an understanding of human nature, how the mind works, successful communication techniques and more. Heather is constantly monitoring trends, researching and working with her clients to provide guidance.

|Business Owner – In 2001 she purchased 50 % of the shares of Smith Insurance and assumed VP role responsible for marketing, sales, finance and human resources. In just 5 years, worked with the team to triple the volume from $1.5 M to over $5 M. The brokerage sold in 2007 for an ROI on her initial investment of over 400%.||What that means is that she is capable of taking a company that has major challenges, analyze the issues and create a plan to turn it into a very profitable business.|
